According to Johan van Dongen, the stabilizers currently on the market are good – but good is not good enough when you’re striving for excellence. That’s why he designed the Hyper-Flex Stabilizer: a product that combines all adjustment possibilities into one innovative system.

How Did You Come Up with the Name Hyper-Flex?
The stabilizer needed to be multifunctional and flexible to meet the needs of every archer. After some brainstorming, Johan came up with Hyper-Flex – a name that perfectly represents the system’s versatility.

What Makes the Hyper-Flex Stabilizer Unique?
Through various prototypes, Johan quickly realized that the carbon tube plays a crucial role in achieving the optimal stabilizer. However, material selection is just as important. Why combine an aluminum bushing (low mass) with a tungsten weight (high mass) if it makes the stabilizer less wind-efficient? The Hyper-Flex Stabilizer provides an innovative solution to this issue.

How Does Wind Affect a Stabilizer?
An archer has many challenges to overcome before wind even becomes a deciding factor in performance. However, reducing the surface area exposed to wind can have a positive impact on scores.

What Makes Hyper-Flex More Wind-Efficient?
Instead of placing weights on the stabilizer, they are integrated inside the stabilizer. This results in a more compact design and modular balance adjustments (ranging from 65 oz – 275 grain – 18 grams). The balance can be perfectly fine-tuned on both the bow side and the outer end.

Do the Internal Weights Cause Noise During Shooting?
No! The included O-rings prevent any noise or rattling. Resonance occurs when sound waves bounce inside the tube, but thanks to the smart construction of the Hyper-Flex, vibrations and unwanted noise are minimized.

What Completes the Hyper-Flex Stabilizer?
The adjustable damper inside the carbon tube eliminates any remaining vibrations. Johan has spent over a year experimenting with different materials and technologies. A key factor in this process was the SteadyAim App, which allows archers to track and analyze bow response. By using this app, you can see the impact of every adjustment and determine the perfect setup for your shooting style.
